And one of the best parts...they make their own bread! If you have never stopped by this little gem of a place you should!

Love to get a sandwich everytime I get back to Beaufort. Food is always good, but the customer service is not great. I opened this restaurant as an employee and the owners Tom and Marie Lewis were such great leaders and taught us how to give great customer service. Tom was so good at this, but I think it's not the same when they're not working. I will always eat there because I love the food.

The best quality meats, cheeses, and bread. Try the Cherry Coke, it is the old fashioned syrup mix.

The staff is so rude. They look at you like you’re disgusting and socialize with other staff, loud and ignore you but the food is good and you won’t regret it. Ignore the staff lack of manors and smile, enjoy the food!

Today was our first time eating here and it was so very good! The sandwiches are unique and delicious! The ladies that work here are so nice and helpful! We will return!

A friend suggested we try Alvin Ord's during our stay in the Beaufort area. We tried it early in the week and loved it so much we had to go back before leaving town. The Salvation was amazing, also highly recommend the Reuben. The bread was incredible and ingredients compliment it perfectly.

The best sandwich shop in Beaufort. Everything is made fresh and to order. This sandwich shop gets quite busy during lunch hours but they are usually not to busy during dinner time hours. It is best to call ahead if you are placing a to go order. This is a must try sandwich shop.

My wife used to live in Beaufort and knows I love a good place for food... she stated Alvin Ord's is a must go to spot, so sure enough to went, and boy was it everything she stated and more... we'll def be stopping by again on our way out of town.

Had a great experience! Great food, friendly service! I very rarely get filled up from a sandwich, but I got the Salvation and I didn't think I was going to make it through! FYI: they do take cards, not being from the area we were unsure so just wanted to put that out there. Will definitely be back whenever we're in the area!!

Not just the best in Beaufort, but the best in generalTheres really nothing special about their menu, it's pretty standard, but the meat/bread/produce are amazing. Quality ingredients are turned into a phenomenal end product. If you want a good hearty meal and a menu that could please anyone in the family I HIGHLY recommend Alvin Ords.

The VERY best sandwiches!!!I love the Salvation. I used to live in Bft moved about 6 years ago but when I visit, I stop by and get my Alvin Ords fix.

It's a humble building but packs the best sandwiches. I've gotten a ham salvation on French everytime I've gone since I was a kid. I just took my husband for the first time and he got a Beaufort cheesesteak and it was delicious as well.

My friends and I were in town visiting for the weekend and found this place on the way back to the hotel. The turkey bacon club sandwich and tuna sandwich was amazing! Oooooh and that warm crispy bread just topped off the goodness. Will definitely hit this place up again when we come back!

Alvin Ords has been the best place to eat in Beaufort since I was a teenager. People are super sweet and always smiling and the food is absolutely awesome!!! I go to get a Turkey club whenever I'm in Beaufort or Bluffton, new one. Keep up the great work yall!!!

Great food and a nice atmosphere. There can be a line at times and it will get crowded but you can always call ahead and pickup. Sitting outside under their covered porch is a nice way to enjoy your meal.

I love Alvin Ords so much, I drive 4+ hrs one way a few times a year just to get a fresh Ham Salvation! I haven't lived in the area for almost 20 years and still love it this much!

Visited here while on vacation at Beaufort, SC. The sandwiches here are top notch. Fresh ingredients. Seating is VERY limited. Because the food is made when ordered, it takes a little time to get your order. Best to call it in and pick it up. Hospitality from the staff is the reason that 5 stars was not given. If you looking for a great place for sandwiches this is it. Don't come here expecting to make friends though...

Alvin Ord's Salvation Sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I ever had! And that says a lot as I have traveled all over the USA and Europe. I recommend this sandwich shop to anyone who lives in the area or traveling through. You could call ahead for pick up and take to The Sands and have a picnic!

Been a Beaufort staple for years. Been coming back to this sandwich shop for over the last 20 years and have never, ever been disappointed. I highly suggest the French Dip or the Ham Salvation. My wife loves the Turkey Club. All are fantastic choices. A large is easily split between 2 or 3 people and the ladies working always do a great job. I really think this is one of the best sandwich shops in the world.

I have been searching for somewhere that has an Alvin Ord’s for over 20 years. There was one near me and it closed that long ago. I will have to check this one out on my next road trip from Boston to Jax. The Cheese Salvation is amazing!!

It's a really good sandwich stand. That's all it is. It doesn't pretend to be fancy, but it doesn't need to. The sandwiches are good enough on their own.

Well if ya not from around here and wanna meet decent locals, this family owned establishment is defenitely the place to have good convo and remarkably tasty salads and sandwiches. With their outdoor seating on a sunny day, lunch is posh, peaceful, and refreshing. Only flaw, in opinion, is the space is small.

Food was outstanding! People were lined up outside of the restaurant. I would give it 5 stars, but the servers weren't nice and rushed us to make an order. This is the perfect spot to order beforehand, pick-up and go. The inside is small and there aren't many tables outside.

I have been eating here since 1987. I moved away long ago, but still drive from Jacksonville Florida to get a Cheese Salvation. The food has been excellent all these years and I hope to keep coming for many more. Obviously worth the drive from anywhere! Also-take it to go and go sit by the river on a beautiful wooden swing and eat.
